i really want a shower that is outside..
like at the beach.
a little wood box where you stand on a wood floor, and take a shower outside.
it feels so good.
there's a window in my shower, sometimes i stick my head out of it while i'm under hot water... but it's not the same.

Had a long talk with my mother about being an artist or just pushing buttons.
The corner store next to Walgreen's in portchester sold a one million dollar scratch ticket. I wonder what that's like, watching one million dollars get revealed behind some scratch-away foil.
I bought a pineapple/coconut juice water thing in a box from the deli down the street. it cost two dollars. then when i opened it there was some unprocessed pineapple puree or whatever that wouldn't mix in no matter how hard i shook it. I even dumped all the juice out into another container to shake it real hard but it wont break down so it's kind of gross. It's just a little frustrating because I really wanted the drink, and it cost two dollars, and now I have to force myself to drink it.
I wrote this all out before and then my internet cut out and I lost it all.
It's so nice out, I want to sit outside and do something productive but there's not really anything productive I can do outside. I put my spare tire back under my trunk... that was productive.
Then I watched all the kids get off the school bus and it made me realize that I definitely need to be a teacher. Kids make me happy, and that's that.

This week has been the worst yet!
I have no one to talk to so I'll write it down.
Here are some problems:
-No work
-Flat tire
-Film is a mess
-Can't pee
-No one to "mother me" and take care of me.
I think I just want to travel the world and get away from here for a while.
I want to be happy and get done with school and get out so badly.
What a crappy livejournal entry.

I am in the second part of making pulled pork.
I made it in my slow cooker ($7!!), cooked a pork shoulder for 14 hours in a carolina style vinegar sauce then pulled it all apart (it fell apart, more accurately... sooo good). Then I made some BBQ sauce this morning and I put the pork back in the cooker with the BBQ where it will cook some more for like another 4 hours.
I was thinking of going home to DC this weekend to pick up stuff I left, but I'm going next weekend so I can't really justify it besides the fact that I'm just going to be bored and lonely up here in CT. I think I'm gonna go to the library today and get some movies. ...and eat pork.

Years ago I could never imagine this... I have no idea what I need to download this quickly though.
Download speed averages about 14.5Mbps, upload at around 5Mbps.

I have been trying to get people I know (and especially those I live with) to stop using anti-bacterial soaps for so long. They're horrible for our environment, water treatment centers... and our health in the long run.

I'm in a really good mood actually which is weird considering how everything's fucked.
I mean, school-wise.
That being said, I got a "promotion" on the feature I'm working on, which involves me going to Adam Sandler's hotel room to set up his Tivo, and some other peoples. I can't say more because I signed an agreement, which is really ridiculous... but I'll tell you all about it in person.
Starting on the 16th (Monday), I'll be pulling 12hour days until mid-August, at which time I'll probably start teaching film to high schoolers at the Summer Human Rights Institute.
I also have everything else going on, and I have a deadline for an instructional DVD thing that there is no way I'm going to make...
We'll see how it goes.

i feel soo clean.
did my laundry and got rid of the horrible microfiber type cover thing on my futon and replaced it with a nice clean fitted sheet. took a shower with my new soap and clean towel, and decided for once i actually like the way my hair feels when i wash it with this new soap i got. AND it smells like almonds.
tomorrow I have to begin working on my "professional" look, because I have my first real meeting with the Columbia Pictures guys about the movie I'm going to be working on starting the 16th.
I also am seeing my therapist and actually think I am working out patterns in myself so I can start to address them. I am seeing this dude twice a week (thanks, awesome insurance!) to try to power through shit so I can start being a better guy. The only problem is that the guy looks like the boss from office space and says, "mmmyeah" a lot, and I want to laugh at him.
last night i couldn't find my keys to the front door and managed to get in after pulling out my insurance card (mentioned above!) in like less than 3 seconds... It was pretty bad, also considering our "bar door" is just latched from the inside so you can just stick your fucking hand between the bars to open it without a key.
aaah so clean. also the bathroom got all cleaned up and redone so it's not gross anymore but actually quite nice.
i'm going to watch little miss sunshine and go to sleep.
